Jim Peterik’s Lifeforce Celebrates New CD at the Montrose Room
Grammy™ award winning Songwriter and Singer JIM PETERIK will celebrate the release of his new Smooth Jazz release “Forces At Play” with a live appearance at the Montrose Room of the Intercontinental Hotel in Rosemont, Illinois, September 24th 2011 at 9 o’clock pm. (Doors at 8:30pm)
Following the release of Lifeforce’s critically and publically acclaimed debut, “Forces At Play” finds Jim and the group joined by a number of Smooth Jazz personalities appearing as guest performers.
Three of those guests will be on hand at the Montrose Room performance.
Lisa McClowry’s recent nation-wide hit single “Come Dancing”, and hit CD “Time Signatures” have made her the brightest new vocal star in smooth jazz.
Mindi Abair brings her Saxophone and Vocal talents to the stage, fresh from her summer tour with Max Weinberg and Bill Champlin, and recent appearances on Fox Television’s “American Idol”.
Rising star Sijay’s fresh vocal style and energy adds a different edge to the smooth jazz style. The 22 year old bends melodies in surprising ways, and it’s no wonder-he’s Jim Peterik’s son.
The excellent Lifeforce band rounds out the show, which will feature tunes from the first Lifeforce release as well as selections from the new “Forces at Play” release, which drops on September 6th.
